CARROLLTON, Texas — October 4, 2026 — Cendien, a Carrollton-based IT consulting, managed services and staffing firm founded in 1999, today announced Workday Support and Application Managed Services for public agencies and enterprises that have completed their move to Workday.
The offering addresses a gap that many organizations encounter only after their implementation partner rolls off: the ongoing, operational work required to keep Workday running day to day. Cendien delivers that support as an independent Workday services provider, using Workday-trained and certified consultants under a fixed monthly fee.
What the Service Covers
The service provides post-go-live support for Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits and Financials, spanning the recurring and reactive work that keeps the platform healthy. That includes reporting, security administration, integrations, semi-annual release management and day-to-day ticket resolution — the activities that do not end at go-live but instead become part of normal operations.
The service includes:
- Tiered ticket support for HCM, Payroll, Benefits and Financials
- Report and dashboard development
- Security role and business process administration
- Integration monitoring and fixes (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors)
- Semi-annual release testing and adoption
- Workday consultants for project or staff-augmentation needs
Why Post-Go-Live Support Matters
"Go-live is where most organizations discover they need ongoing help," said Israel Denis, Managing Director of Cendien. "Payroll has to run every cycle, releases arrive twice a year, and integrations break when upstream systems change. We give HR, payroll and finance teams a dedicated, U.S.-based support team that already knows their environment."
That reality shapes how Cendien structures the service. Payroll cannot pause while a backlog clears; it runs on a fixed schedule, and errors carry compliance and employee-trust consequences. Workday's semi-annual releases introduce new capabilities and change existing behavior, which means each one requires testing against an organization's configuration rather than passive acceptance. And integrations that move data between Workday and surrounding systems — time and attendance, benefits carriers, financial and banking platforms — remain exposed to change on either side of the connection.
Many internal teams are sized for steady-state administration, not for absorbing these demands on top of their regular workload. A dedicated support team that understands the client's specific configuration can resolve issues faster than a team starting from scratch each time, and can plan release adoption instead of reacting to it.
Building on Cendien's ERP Experience
The launch builds on Cendien's long history supporting Infor Lawson customers. Cendien has supported several of those organizations — including a California city, a national life insurer and a Dallas-based national transportation company — through their transition from Lawson to Workday and into steady-state operations.
That experience informs how Cendien approaches the transition between implementation and operations, a handoff where context is often lost. By carrying knowledge of an organization's processes, configuration and integration points into the support phase, Cendien aims to shorten resolution times and reduce the operational risk that typically follows a go-live.
Cendien is not a Workday partner and does not resell Workday software. Learn more at Workday Support & Managed Services.
